Booking a Green Screen Photo Booth – Whats Next?

You’ve booked a green screen photo booth and want to supply your own artwork? This article should cover the basics of Green screen artwork, photo dimensions, which format, overlays and the final image output for one of our green screen photo experiences.

Green Screen Background

When submitting green screen background images, its important to make sure it works with our software and requires minimal alterations. When submitting, please consider the follwoing points:

• Format – JPEG
• Aspect ratio – Most of the time we print on 4×6 (1800 x 1200px) media. So make sure your artwork matches this.
• Image Quality – We reccomend using hi quality stock images and optimising them using www.tinypng.com for optimum results.

Things to consider:

• Perspective – If you are supplying an image of a landscape, will the guests look natural when added to the background? See below for good and bad example of perspective.

Green Screen Overlay

When submitting a green screen photo overlay to Fresh Booths, its important to make sure it works with our software and requires minimal alterations. When submitting, please consider the follwoing points:

• Format – PNG
• Dimensions – This must match the size of your green screen background image E.g 1800 x 1200 px 
• Image Quality – We reccomend using Photoshop or illustrator to design overlays and optimising them using www.tinypng.com before submitting.
• Palcement – Make sure no text or images will cover key parts of the photo.

Green Screen Photo

This part is all down to us! We will supply an 8x8ft Green Screen (Chroma Key) backdrop and configure our software to automate the procesing of background, photo and overlay to create the final image output. To help us crate awesome green screen expieriences, pleae consider the following:

• Photo Booth Placement – With Green screen, light and space is key. If the event is during the day, put us near a window for optimum results. If the space allows it, we reccoemdn having the guests stand a few feet away from the backdrop to minimise shadows.

The Final Ouput

Once the photo is taken our software will process the image, background and overlay to create the final photo. This process can be a quick as a few seconds, for some custom activations, this can be considerably more depending on the customisition required.

Final images can be printed automatically printed manually by the guest or attendee, shared by text or email either on the booth or on a separate kiosk located near the booth.
