British Airways i360 Wedding Venue

The British Airways i360, or the Brighton i360 as it was formerly known, is one of the most iconic Brighton Attractions. Most noteworthy with the Pavilion, Brighton Palace Pier and Pompoko’s! Built in August 2016 by architects David Marks and Julia Barfield, it is Britons tallest moving observation tower. It raises a colossal 162-metre (531 ft) above the Brighton skyline. In addition, visitors Can see unique views of Brighton and surrounding areas including Beachy Head and the Isle of White from “the Pod” which boasts panoramic 360-degree views.

In addition to their impressive tower the British Airways i360 has various shops and cafes including; a quirky gift shop, restaurant, tea room and for those that fancy a drink at 500ft, a sky bar! The i360 also boasts an impressive event space for weddings, social and corporate events since it’s only a stone’s throw from the west pier.

 

Event Space – British Airways i360

First of all, Its surprising how big the event space is at the British Airways i360, and if your looking from the road you would be sure to miss it! Walking along the west beach tells another story. A Private beachside terrace, this boasts a panoramic glass fronted building which has a sizeable unique and contemporary event space. The i360 space can either be split into smaller areas or opened up for more sizeable events. Additional meeting rooms are available, as well as “The Pod” itself can be privately hired for a special occasion including weddings, banquets, private dining, drinks and also canapé receptions.

With so many talented suppliers from across Sussex and beyond I didn’t have time to chat with them all, unfortunately! Those who I did speak with were very passionate, and the quality of service or products from everyone was nothing short of exceptional.

Fresh Booths (Us)

We showcased our magic mirror photo booth in addition to our Gif Booth. We had a great day and got to chat with many exhibitors and visitors.

 

 

Gecko Campers

Neil and his team at Gecko Campers offer a beautiful 1972 VW Campervan for hire as a classic chauffeured vehicle, for those that want to arrive in style! I have seen this van a few times, and both times I have tried and failed in finding dirt on this pristine example of one the most iconic vehicles ever made. It’s a must see!

Rooster Magic

Rooster is his stage name and magic is his craft. I had the pleasure of meeting Ross and got to see some mesmerising magic! One of the best magicians I have ever seen! I was lucky enough to catch him between entertaining visitors and got a glimpse of some close-up card magic. I was left speechless! His magic is flawless, innovative and fresh. To Have & To Hire Events – Venue Styling & Decor

To have and to Hire Events, provide bespoke event and wedding styling. They have a wedding showroom based in Billinghurst where clients can attend, collaborate ideas and help their clients create their dream wedding.

I worked with this fantastic company before at a wedding in North Chailey. I was amazed at how quickly and beautifully they turned a local hospice into a stunning wedding venue.  At the wedding fayre, I had the pleasure of meeting Kim who took a few photos in our booth! Here is a picture of their beautiful stand showing off some of their items and their stunning Floral backdrop!

We got to meet with other exhibitors at the i360 including, West Sussex Prestige Vehicles, My Brighton Hotel, Shotgun Photography, furthermore Brighton Gin had a quirky display which looked great!

Summary

In conclusion, The British weather was very… British! Due to the cold and small amount of fallen snow overnight, This didn’t subdue the atmosphere. Exhibitors and visitors were very welcoming, engaging, and spirits were high throughout the event. The i360 supplied free tea and coffee in addition to goodie bags for visitors.

The Brighton i360 is a well known, Brighton attraction (its hard to miss) and many couples have tied the knot and partied at this fabulous venue.
